The WRC Big Move: Behind the Scenes!
Big things are happening at WRC! As we get ready to move into our new home at Mercantile House, we’ll be taking you behind the scenes to share the exciting transformation.
From the first stages of renovation to sneak peeks of our new spaces, follow along as everything starts to take shape. We’ll be adding updates as work progresses, so be sure to pop back and see what’s new!
October 2026 – Let the Renovations Begin!
The transformation is officially underway! There’s plenty to do before we can welcome you into our new home, but things are already moving along nicely. Here’s a look at what’s been happening behind the scenes at Mercantile House this month…
It’s All Hands On Deck!
LATEST UPDATE
There’s more progress at Mercantile House today, with the old toilets being ripped out ready for brand-new facilities to be installed!
And it’s all hands on deck, with Neil Sykes kindly lending a hand and helping Jon with some of the hard graft. Thanks, Neil!
It’s certainly a busy time behind the scenes, and we’re loving seeing the changes taking place!
A First Look for the Team!
Of course, we couldn’t keep all the excitement to ourselves! The WRC team recently had the chance to take a tour of our new premises and get a feel for the space.
It was lovely to see everyone having a look around, sharing ideas and imagining what our new home will look like when everything comes together!
Things Are Taking Shape!
The next stage is underway, with painting and electrical work beginning across the premises.
There’s still a long way to go, but every bit of progress brings us one step closer to our new home. We can’t wait to see how it all comes together!
The Transformation Begins!
With the space cleared, it’s time to get stuck into the renovations! Old flooring is being lifted, areas are being prepared and the first signs of our new home are starting to emerge.
It might look a little messy right now, but it’s all part of the process of creating something special!
Out with the Old, In with the New!
Before the exciting transformation could begin, the first step was saying goodbye to the building’s previous chapter.
With the former occupants moving out, we got our first glimpse of the space as it was, complete with desks, benches and office equipment. It’s hard to imagine how different it will look in just a few months!
September 2026 – A New Chapter Begins!
Here’s to New Beginnings!
Every exciting journey has to start somewhere, and ours began with a toast!
Nic and Jonny raised a glass to celebrate WRC’s next big chapter – our move to Mercantile House on Lapwing Lane!
Just down the road from our current premises, our new home will give us more space, new opportunities and the chance to expand our services and exercise classes.
With plans in place and renovations due to begin in October, there’s so much to look forward to.
