At the Wellbeing & Rehab Co. we take women’s health seriously and offer a range of support to enable you to take care of your body and wellbeing. We have specialist healthcare and coaching to guide you through your female journey. We offer classes which are a great way to meet new people who are in the same place as you are, build a support network and give your health a boost for you. YOU need to be well yourself, before you can take care of anyone else.
Mummy MOT
We offer a specialist postnatal examination for women post c-section or vaginal delivery. The Mummy MOT is 1-hour postnatal health check suitable from 6 weeks postnatal and beyond. This includes an assessment of posture, tummy muscles and diastasis Recti assessment, and pelvic floor muscles. Your specialist Mummy MOT physiotherapist will provide you with gentle exercises and treatment to get you on track with your fitness goals.
Pregnancy Pilates
Exercise during pregnancy has so many benefits and Pilates is a great way to maintain your flexibility, work your core strength and postural muscles. All the exercises are suitable for pregnancy and the class will incorporate both standing and mat work . Different equipment will be used during the classes to make the class more varied and offer different challenges. These classes are Physiotherapy lead and you require a 30 min Pilates assessment before joining this class.
Post-natal Pilates
These classes are a great way to return to exercise post birth using your body weight to strengthen your core muscles. The classes will also incorporate resistance bands to add variety and more challenge to the exercises. Babies are welcome to this class and it provides a great way for you to exercise with your baby next to you. You will require a 30 min Pilates assessment to book onto these classes which will assess your posture, muscle control, assess for Diastasis Recti and any specific areas that you can focus on in the classes.
Antenatal and Postnatal Coaching
We also offer coaching; this can be done on a 1:1 or in a group of up to 4. The first session will be to clarify your specific goals and set a programme that suits you and your needs. These sessions are great for those that want to lift weights and exercise safely throughout pregnancy and post birth.
Menopause
We offer women’s health coaching support to women experiencing symptoms of the menopause. This can be in the form of education and support to manage symptoms as well as exercise rehabilitation to improve bone health, preventing future problems and improve overall quality of life.
